The Information We Collect. The information we learn from users of FUJIFILM’s application helps us improve our application and provide better service to you. The information we collect falls into two broad categories: (1) information you voluntarily provide to us and (2) information that is automatically collected.
Information you voluntarily provide to us. When you register with us and use our application, you may provide the following: (a) your name, email address, age, user name, password and other registration information; (b) transaction-related information, such as when you make purchases, respond to any offers, or download or use the application; (c) information you provide us when you contact us for help; (d) credit card information for purchase and use of any services provided by the application; and (e) information you enter into our system when using the application, such as contact information. We may use the information you provide to us, in accordance with applicable laws, to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions. We may also ask for feedback relating to our goods or services. Participation is voluntary and you are not required to provide this information. However, if you choose not to participate, we may not be able to perform a requested service or complete a transaction.
We may collect additional information through your use of the application, including: (a) your mobile phone number; (b) any name you might have assigned to your device; (c) your contacts or address book; (d) your web browsing history; (e) information concerning other applications you have downloaded or used; and (f) other stored information on your device such as videos, photos, photo location, audio, contact list and/or social network credentials. We may use information collected through the application not only as specifically indicated in the application, but to assess the performance of our application or other online services, prevent fraud, provide technical support, conduct research, generate analytics, address internal online services operations, or respond to your needs. Lastly, we may use this information to personalize the services offered by us or our affiliates, including providing personalized advertising through the application.
Information Collected Automatically. We also collect and store certain non-personal information that is generated automatically as you navigate through our application. A unique device identifier, or ID, is an alpha-numeric string of data that can either be part of the hardware of your device or automatically assigned to your device by the operating system or software. We may associate this unique device ID with other information, and may treat such combined information as personally identifiable information as long as such information remains combined. Unique device IDs may be used to enable certain features and also to personalize and serve advertising based on your interests and use of other applications. See the section below on opt-outs for information regarding how to limit the use of unique device IDs.
If you use a location-enabled service, we may collect and process information about your actual location. Some online services require your location information in order for one or more features to work. Precise location information can be used for location services such as tagging or check-in. The settings on your device may be adjusted to disable location information. Location-based services are for individual use only and should not be used or relied upon as an emergency locator system, family finding service, fleet tracking device or other use, whether commercial and personal, or used in any situation in which the failure or inaccuracy of use of location-based services could lead directly to death, personal injury or severe physical or property damage.
Like many other companies, we use a standard feature found in browser software called a "cookie", which enables us to place bits of text on your hard drive or device for record-keeping purposes. By showing how and when users utilize our application, cookies help us track user trends and patterns. They also relieve you from having to re-enter your preferences on certain areas of the application where you have previously entered preference information. See below for a detailed description about cookies. We collect information about your computer’s or device’s connection to the Internet to allow us, among other things, to improve the delivery of our web pages to you and to measure traffic on our application (including to determine the performance of certain aspects of the application, such as page transition time, how many people are currently using the application, and where each user may be in the application’s workflow). We sometimes use the non-identifying and aggregate information that is collected as described above to enhance the design of our application and help us understand the needs of our users.
Our Special Commitment to Children’s Privacy. Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information on our website from users who we actually know to be under the age of 13. Use of the application is prohibited for users under age 18.
